Join us on May 1st for a special talk with Cecil Uyehara.  Mr. Uyehara is a World War II veteran who served in the Imperial Japanese Army and then spent his career in US government service. A graduate of Keio University (1948), Mr. Uyehara holds a Master’s degree from the University of Minnesota and attended Harvard University and the Federal Executive Institute. He was Director, Program Operations Staff, Latin America Bureau in the U.S. Department of State and has held a number of other positions in the US government and in academia. His most recent publication is The 1952 Subversive Activities Prevention Law of Japan (Brill, 2010).
