Associate Teaching Professor/ Chinese Language Coordinator Position

The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at Georgetown University invites applications for one non-tenure-track full-time Associate Teaching Professor position in Chinese, starting August 2018.   This is a teaching track position with possibility of promotion to full teaching professor. The candidate should be able to teach all levels of Chinese language courses as well as courses on Chinese linguistics, and work as the coordinator in charge of a large Chinese language program. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Chinese linguistics, Chinese language pedagogy or a related field with native or near native proficiency in Chinese and English. Experience teaching college-level Chinese in North America is required.  Experience as a coordinator in a college-level Chinese language program is preferred.
