The Department of East Asian Languages & Cultures offers language placement testing for incoming freshman and transfer students. 

We offer language proficiency testing for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the School of Foreign Service and for undergraduate students in the International Business program of the McDonough School of Business.

We also provide native speaker certification in Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean for Georgetown students who need it.
